Culturans uses art, culture, and social innovation to imagine and create sustainable cities on a human scale.

Bringing together the creative industries, community engagement, and sustainable development, the Mexico-based Culturans team works with grassroots communities, scientific and educational institutions, civil society organizations, and government agencies in the Americas, Europe, and Asia.

Driven by its collaborative Creative Citizens approach, Culturans' practice integrates a global and local focus to face urban issues and develop creative solutions that empower citizens, democratize urban innovation, and co-create thriving places that inspire social, economic, and environmental change in everyday urban life.

Since 2018, Culturans has focused on empowering urban youth, reimagining marginalized places as hotbeds of innovation, enhancing the experience of public space, and exploring cities' cultural and natural heritage as a source of sustainable futures.
