Ifö Center

Ifö Center is a free culture house initiated by artists in an old ceramic factory by a beautiful lake in the small village of Bromölla in southern Sweden. The factory area has been totally closed to outsiders for decades, but select parts can now be visited through the centre’s guided tours. The centre also offers studio space for artists, residencies and various workshops, as well as guided tours, art exhibitions, etc.

The outdoor gallery includes artwork by international street artists and Europe’s largest stoneware fountain ‘Scanisaurus’ – depicting two live-sized ceramic dinosaurs.

What makes the organisation unique?

The centre is located in a factory that is still active.
