Salong Central Gnesta - a greenhouse for performing arts

"The non-profit association Salong Central is a platform for community-led initiatives and a member-based organization that initiates and finances its own projects and events for both members and citizens in and around Gnesta.According to its statutes: 'The association’s purpose is to promote artistic activity regionally, nationally, and internationally. The association aims to create a performing arts platform where people of all ages can meet, discuss, and exchange ideas. The association shall actively work to counteract all forms of discrimination and promote dialogue through an intersectional and international perspective.'The performing arts venue Salong Central is often described as a 'greenhouse for the performing arts.' It is a space where theatre, dance, circus, music, performance art, stand-up, and much more are created and performed. The venue also hosts workshops, parties, and meetings, and serves food and drinks to visitors and participants in our small bar and restaurant."
