Studio Shift

To SHIFT [verb]: to move, to change, to lift.
We are an Experience and Service Design company, but we see ourselves as “a social innovation hub”: through co-design, we regenerate inclusive, sustainable, and happy communities.

We support organisations in achieving their social and environmental goals. We use design and technology to improve services, natural environments, educational systems, and the local welfare. We work with today’s communities, businesses, public institutions, and schools to shape the change of tomorrow. We offer consultancy and design workshops, and we write and implement projects alongside our customers.

Since 2022, we have been working on eco-social and cultural innovation using our own adaptation of the Design Sprint methodology, creating a participatory idea generation format.
We have tested it with social innovators, changemakers, artists, citizens, environmental activists, teenagers, and schools — a short “designer-in-residence” collective programme hosted by communities, cultural organisations, and social cooperatives.
